I'm re-learning al things Amiga so excuse the newbie questions :-)

How do I go about mounting an SMBFS share in the new MorphOS 3.6 ?

    Thanks!

First question, do you have a SMB share setup on a NAS or Linux or BSD-like machine?

AFAIR Windows 7 shares won't work. (only up to Windows XP)

Yup, got a Thecus NAS with a number of NFS, AFP anf CIFS shares.

Storage side I've got down pat (since it's what I do for a job anyway :-) but just don't know the process on MorphOS to mount them up, before 3.6 I was using the 68K "smbfs" command, now I need to know what to use in 3.6

    Thanks!

If you had it in Sys:C/ you are now most likely using the MorphOS smbfs since it's in MOSSYS:C

Windows 7 share work fine, you just need to lower the security

Ah ... OK I upgraded my 3.5 to 3.6 so I'll remove the 68K SMBFS from sys:c/ and see how it goes.

Assuming it uses the same syntax ?

    Thanks

I'm just not able to connect on one of the win7 machines, another one works, slowly but works.
So I wonder how do I lower the securtiy on win7? Can you please help/tell me?

    Thanks
