    This Ibrowse version rocks!

    I quite agree! :-)

However, I did have a little trouble with the automatic installation of the mui files. In the end I had to copy the files manually from the archive to the correct IBrowse folders?

Still IBrowse 2.4 appears to be working fine!!

I?ve installed new Trance, but IBrowse seems quite unstable on my Peg.
It frozens when saving prefs, and it slows downs when visiting 2 or 3 websites.

Am I the only one having a problem with transparency?
The backgrounds of the buttons and some parts of the website (but not images) are pink here.

No, I had the same pink background until I copied the images of my IB2.3 installation on top of the IB2.4 images.

i have the same pink colors in my toolbar:

    http://retrobolt.uw.hu/ibbug.jpg

and i have another problem with ib2.4: cannot open the settings window. when i try it, the screen flashes once, mui4 fonts changed to topaz and some gfx elements also changed to gadtools (can be seen on the picture under the link), and the setting window doesnt appear at all (ib settings not mui) besides these two issues everything else works as they should be...

The problem is the color pink is supposed to be transparent, but isn't in color register 0, which is the transparent register. If you can load the image into a decent bitmap editor and swap the pink color into register 0 and remap the image it'll fix the problem. I'd post a link to the images I've fixed but somebody would probably holler at me. ;-)

Also I noticed that fixing images/Picture but deleting images/Picture.info causes iBrowse to complain about a Picture file that is too old.

    yuuu! quote works!

How many connection you have opened with IB2.4?

Have you checked the MUI classes?

Edit- oops skipped the 8 connections part!

    @All

About the color issue.... it happens with all the GFX card?

Yeah, u found the 8 connections part :)
Well i checked my mui classes, replaced them against newer once.
Or against what shall i check them?
The thing is, it also crashed like this when booting
    straight of the MOS CD.

Not sure yet but it seems like it works, when
switching off trance again (ENV NOTRANCE)

Certain pages seem to trigger this problem more often,
    like for eg. www.pegasosforum.de.
Ill guess its all the buttons getting loaded there.

"The thing is, it also crashed like this when booting

this explain that you have some MUI classes knackered/outdated.

And check that the IB2.4 installer installs the 68K mcc classes.

Download them again and install the latest MOS one (above all the NList one that are part of the MOS installation)

Thanks FRamiga for the idea, but i already tried that.

After a while of testing im quite sure it has something to do with trance.
Maybe not with trance and ibrowse directly, maybe something else cause the problem, but my ibrowse
    crashes when Trance is running.

When booting without trance, ibrowse is running. Then i run trance l8r and ibrowse crashes (after a while)
I can reproduce it every time. anyway i can live with this, stability goes over speed here :)

@acill: maybe this (setenv in envarc: NOTRANCE) will help you too.

I see that ppl with classic Amigas can run IB2.4. How do you do it? By disabling Trance or by doing some other trick?

Velcro_SP.... its Trance the problem and us with MOS for PowerUP can't (i've registered months ago to the support site without ANY reply) download the latest one.

Although some of us "poor" PowerUP users, have helped a LOT of other users to get MOS for PowerUP running.

But, as you know... "life sucks"! ;-)
