    ok,

I have seen this 'Grunch' mentioned before.
    Does it come with Morph?
I take it is a dependency resolver.

No, there was some talk about making Grunch part of MorphOS 3.0, didn't happen though.

It does not come with MorphOS.

It is kind of a software repository with one click installation and yes, it takes care of dependencies.

After manually and iteratively replacing each directory I can say without any doubt that the problem only occurs when using swfdec in combination with the multimedia classes installed with the reggae update.

Replacing mossys:classes/multimedia files from those included with the morphos3.1 installation CD solves the problem.

It only took about 3 billion reboots to figure it out.

Snoopdos failed to capture it fully, but kept stopping on

    > all OWB related scripts will keped up to date, so you will never experience any "YouTube
    > does not work anymore" problems, as you get informed as soon as fab did an update.

I'm glad Fab is now working directly with the Youtube masterminds so he gets informed beforehand of any changes that will be made to the Youtube website, which will enable him to always offer the right script in time ;-)

I can confirm that this is the case and solution to fix the problem. Well done BootWB, very well done :)

Grunch works great. There is a lot of software not listed but oh well.

BTW: I tunred off Debug->MUI->error according the the readme for OWB and all teh crashing seems to have stopped.

At least for the global database I try to keep it clean and only add 100% proper and quality software.

I also add new stuff right after they get available. There is not much need for filling the database with outdated crap noone needs just to raise the number of packets.

Quality outruns numbers here. Today I added several packets. Some are still in the pipe and will appear after some additional testing, as updating using a packet manager should not crash the system on next bootup :D
