It would have helped if more than 5 people asked for an update of OctaMED for MorphOS. 50 people at least!
Seems to me the last version of Octamed was capable of driving a Toccata card. If this were simple to be re-written with a AHI driver, then probably an enhanced version of the existing OctaMED could be compiled that runs on several 'Amiga-type' platforms.
However I think there are better opportunities, perhaps even developing a tracker-style editor add-on for Bars & Pipes, and so forth.
