Will E-UAE be updated for MorphOS?

Aghh so it is for sure that if this project is directly tied to MorphOS and not just OS 4.x then?

If that's the case I need to stop spending my tax return on Amiga and Atari stuff and put some towards this MUCH NEEDED cause. I have having to resort to Windows for a half way decent Amiga emulation experience...

...well that is emulation that goes beyond single disk game emulation.

it's going to be open-source ... that's good enough for me.

I thought the bounty page made it clear enough, but if not then read the first post on the developers blog:

I had only read about it on Amiga.org previously, now that I read this I see the angle.

It is being developed on OS 4, but not coded in a way to make it OS 4 dependant. Therefore a MorphOS port would be a possibility but not a certainty. Gotcha.

    Also there it's said:

"The JIT version will automatically become open source and other PPC OS will hopefully be able to benefit from the work as well."

Of course it'll be opensource since E-UAE itself is GPL. It's nice of the author that he intends to make it easily portable.

If he does this the way he promise he will, and a port for MorphOS doesn't materialize... only the MorphOS community itself is to blame. We can only give him the benefit of the doubt ( if there is any ) and give our support. I did support with 30€.

    Andreas_Wolf: I didn't say exactly what I read on Amiga.org now did I?!

If I'd had read a part that made it clear to me that a MorphOS edition was being worked on side by side, or not, then I'd never have posted my question in the first place. ;)

You said you "had only read about it on Amiga.org previously". The message on amiga.org includes the sentence I quoted above. And I take it you meant that message as you took part in the thread that was started by that message.

    > my question in the first place. ;)

The part I quoted of the message on amiga.org implicitly says that "a MorphOS edition" is *not* being worked on side by side.

If your other one gets crucified, poisoned or something then sure thing! I'm just dying to be a martyr.

So you know, and so I don't come across as totally daft (not that there is anything wrong with being simple). I don't keep the inet at home, so generally when I am on-line it is at a friends, at the local Library, or up town at the local coffee shop. Needless to say, this is a small town, and I tend to attract a lot of attention being the town eccentric and all, so usually when I'm trying to read or type, I'm caring on a conversation or trying to get rid of someone in the physical realm as well, so as a result, it becomes very hard to focus on what I'm reading or to pick up on my typos, so with that said, sorry if I come across as irritating.
