Yes, I do really think MorphOS2.4 is awesome! Best Amiga experience I have ever had and it takes me back to the days when I first got my A1000 and would stay up all night using it even though I had to go to work the next day.

The license issue is way over emphasized and blown out of character. It is worth it to get the license and jump into using MorphOS full time for most, if not all of your computing enjoyment.

Take the plunge and jump on board with the rest of us licensed users

i agree with you, it'a really good OS
    a toy like workbench...
I was afraid of registering and loose my keyfile if my Pegasos
would die. thanks for your posts..i'm going to register it soon.
Os4.1 is good too, but MorphOS is a more Polished Workbench experience.
And the best of all, enjoy morphos without restarting every half
    and hour.

It would likely be the same with any other network application, i guess. Nothing in OWB could explain this, in any case.

    Thanx for clarifying.

Then there's one for you - call it 12b:
network thread in owb 1.6, morphos2.4 Mini config (but with wifi appliance, see my sig) causes infinite timeout.

Number 13 is funny because has nothing to do with MorphOS.

I have to get myself a new Mighty Mouse - old one got broken and now I use some ordinary usb mouse. Its scroller wheel is simultaneously the third button when pressed. Imagine that it halts any input on firmware partition boot screen, while plugged in

    :-) :-) :-)

So listen, to select MorphOS partition or either on its restart (Mac boots by default) - I have to unplug the mouse, hold alt, then switch to MOS partition using tab :-) :-) then hit enter and mouse is allowed in

    I've got a new complaint - number 14.

Sometimes I enter a dir. Then when I want to delete it, I get a 202 error - in use. I suppose it is a bug since when I close all Ambient windows, The problem persists until I restart. That's the most annoying thing in my MorphOS - hope to have it fixed in 2.5 :-(

It would need a more detailed description here, because it just shows there's a lock on the directory, which might very well be kept by a program run from that directory, for instance. But ambient itself doesn't maintain locks on directories for no reason.

Oh my... I thought the error code plus description is enough.

OK, I too think it obviously is about lock.

Let's say I download an app from downloads section here. Then I open the archive placed in RAMDISK. When I reach the dir, I copy this to my Games directory on my HDD.

Then I start with MyMorphOS icon, navigate to the dir and run some binary. Then the app seems to be missing something, say some prerequisites aren't met at the moment. So I wanna delete it. Go UP to the parent dir, mark the app dir icon and rightclick then delete. Some files are deleted but then I get the said Err message above.

For the last few days it happend several times. I will try to reproduce this and get back with the concrete data. If you want, I can cat some dirs of mine, haven't been messing with system dirs actually.
