I've taken a little break in DigiBooster3 programming.

I supposed that. Very understandable. Thankyou very much for all those insightful informations, computer programmers aren't always that friendly.
You've given us many hints about a tracker not being that simple to program, if done right.

    Hi Krashan,

    Three simple questions:

    - will MIDI Controllers like korg nanokey be supported?
    - is it going to be a shareware software or maybe there will be a trial version?
    - can you estimate when it will be released?

    thanks,
    K

There will be no MIDI support in the first version. "camd.library" for MorphOS must be done first. Then assuming Poseidon can handle these Korg devices, they will be supported.

is it going to be a shareware software or maybe there will be a trial version?

The current plan is, it will be sold by APC&TCP. There is a demo version planned, if they want trial version, I will prepare it.

can you estimate when it will be released?

    No. Too many variables...

    @ magnetic from another thread

    1. Is there any external MIDI control?

Not yet. There are more important things missing yet. Also see posts below, I've explained it in details.

    2. Does it record samples?

It will on machines supporting recording (for now it rules out Efika and Mini AFAIK).

    3. Do you recommend any soft synths like 303 and 808 emu on Amiga?

Well, 303emu known from DigiBoosterPro 2.21 has been removed. On the other hand modular design of DigiBooster 3 allows me to add any synth module to the program.

Can't wait! Hopefully this will be feature rich enough to curve my OctaMED S.S. Envy a bit. On that note, I hope the MIDI support becomes doable in the future. Either way...

...it's going to be GREAT to have DigiBooster native on MorphOS!

About MIDI on MOS, I see this on the hardware support page (on Poseidon part) :

    MIDI via USB
    MIDI keyboards and interfaces.
    CAMD driver and keyboard mapper
    simplemidi.class (included), camdusbmidi.class (included)

Is not enough for a simple MIDI tracking in a not so far future? I assume also that the standard 68k camd.library work on MOS.
