the option is still there, just moved, and only available for individual mui prefs (window entry). As it doesn't make much sense to have this option globally set.

Hi all,

I experience a strange problem with this new MUI and YAM.
I delete an e-mail in YAM which should place the deleted e-mail in the "deleted" folder but it doesn't, it is just deleted.

Now on another PEG2 which still has MUI from May 2007, I copied the complete YAM directory and deleted an e-mail and here the deleted e-mail gets transfered to the deleted folder. So I suppose this could be a bug in MUI.

Does anyone else have the same problem?


Further with MUI from 17.12.2007 there seems to be a bug in the color chooser, try to select RGB sliders and try to enter a value which doesn't work here.

I confirm the bug with Yam and deleted folder, I thought it was a bug in Yam, but have never had time to investigate.

i cant confirm this. all my deleted emails go to trash.
can it be that you only have a deleted folder and not a trash one? i think this can lead to problems.
also check in yam/settings/misc/delete messages that there is no checkmark at "remove messages immediately".

i dont tested the problem with colors, but i had a little problem to which seems to be killed by just saving mui prefs.

but can you confirm another bug?
if you forward, edit a outgoing or reply to a mail than the write message window title dont have the mail subject included. only if you change something in the subject the windowtitle will be refreshed.
i tested this on a clean mos 1.4.5 setup with mui3.9 and the problem was gone ... this is why i think it could be a mui4 issue.

Yes you are right, it was the MCC TheBar. I re-installed the 21.4 version from sf.net and it seems to work again as it should. The substitute MCC TheBar I was using came from the amrssMUI4.lha from Alfie.

No at least here not. Even after a save the problem is still there. You can test it the following way: open global mui settings, go to e. g. window and click on background, in the colorweel richt click and select RGB Sliders, then left click in e. g. R and with the keyboard try to change the value.

Also I noticed that the letters RGB change to HSV when moving the mouse.

i dont have problems using muibeta 20.12.2007 and amirc 3.5.28 together.

I confirm that there is a problem with the latest MUI and AmIRC. It was running fine with the previous MUI build. Now i get an "application is meditating".
I hope that i will be fixed in the next release.

Problems with the FNC of MUICon (application is meditating, again) as well. I'm reverting to the previous version of MUI..

i found another MUI4 issue in YAM.

Goto Config and open the Filter Settings. If i expand the Config window to 1024px height than only a half of the window is used for displaying the filterlist and the options on the right. with mui3.9 the complet window height is used.

my fault. i had on the morphos system with mui3.9 another yam nightly build running. so it seems to be a yam bug that is allready gone in the current nightly build.
