That is corrected now. I was using wrong DPI setting in NetSurf. I have uploaded new archive to Aminet. I already got one bug report that it is not working anymore... it works here but if someone is having new troubles please let me know.

New build types "Opening page..." in status line and do nothing. I can type in text fields, but have no reaction. Also, buttons (stop, reload, forvard, back) not active.
Network statistics said that no any info sent or received.

Delete the netsurf.info and then run the program.

Ok, I figured it out. There is a bug in WB arg handling and when there is an icon NetSurf attempts to load its own executable to a browser. But there is another bug in handling of local files which causes NS to hang.

So for now get rid of that icon. Will be fixed in the next release.

There is file called "NetSurf.info" in the NetSurf directory. Delete it either from the shell or from Ambient: switch to lister mode and delete NetSurf.info file (see here).

If you still have problems with getting NetSurf showing fonts. You need a _ttf font called Times New Roman Latin2 or NetSurf wont show text. Once you have done this, even starting NetSurf from its icon works. Also remember to download database.engine which itix links on first page.

    Good luck with the surfing!

Any chance for a MOS 1.4 version? Might be usefull for PUP users.

There's no need to download ttengine.database (not "database.engine") anymore since it's part of the NetSurf archive dating from one week ago which itix mentions on the second page.
