That suggests a problem with Wifi, not Wayfarer. Given the amount of information provided (as in: not much), it can be anything, really.

I want to report a problem but so far it only happened one time:

I had several Tabs open and I could reload the Tabs or close them, but I could not quit Wayferer. The last Tab stayed open. Will see if this happens again.

Video playback with Wayfarer8.7 is choppy or delayed, about 20 seconds plays fine and then 40 seconds plays choppy and so on. All videos play like this not just YouTube.
Wayfarer8.6 with exactly the same settings works normally.

Here is a video from my phone.
    https://youtu.be/4ebqIdDfoQc

The first 2 minutes is Wayfarer8.6 (for comparison) and the second 2 minutes is Wayfarer8.7.
The behavior is the same if I use Youtube Experience Mobile or SmartTV.
It doesn't matter what the video is or its quality or length or anything like that.

8.11 out with a small tweak: I've enabled a HTML API that was required for www.meta.ai to work - so if you want to chat with LLama 3.1 AI or generate some images with AI, you can now do it on MorphOS :)

    Thanks for the update!

Is there a way to improve scrolling smoothness? I have deactivated AdBlock and video playback options which improved loading and scrolling speed a bit

Get a faster computer with a better graphics card. PCIE G5 will give you best scrolling performance on most sites.

Disabling the AdBlocker will decrease overall speed, if anything.

Video playback is off by default for a reason. It only makes sense to enable on websites that you want to watch videos on.

i see, then i will have to save up for an X5000 as i dont trust those 20 year old G5s (already had 2 machines that died)
I think for my Peg2 its best to use Wayfarer and OWB in tandem. Thanks for the fast reply

I'm a "bot" :-o or a "Power User" - according to eBay UK, when I use Wayfarer version 8.11 - so I won't, and obviously can't, use it until that issue is fixed at the very least!

I clicked to clear out my cookies, but that didn't help either. That was after I tried with several of the User Agents, even though the "Safari" one works best - well it does with v8.9, but obviously not with v8.11.

I can use Wayfarer v8.9 to access the eBay UK website - as a logged-in member, but with v8.11 it just offers this "pardon this interruption" heading, followed by the "bot" and "Power User" messages

The website manualslib dot com - PDF manual resource is still non-functional for me even with v8.11 (and I have tried it with v8.11 as well, even though it misrepresents itself on eBay UK). In fact if you use their main page to search for a manual, let's say "Black Decker drill" then after you either press "Enter" or click on the "Search" button it just clears that input from the field and does nothing for any input you place there with Wayfarer, either on v8.9 or v8.11. That still includes the "bot check" of reCaptcha tiled picture array question area, which you can complete as many times as you want - up to your own levels of satisfaction, but once you have gained a green 'checkmark' (tick) and it has left the green oblong to the right of the reCaptcha field for you to click on, but here again clicking on it . . . nothing happens! Other than you get more and more frustrated with it not functioning with Wayfarer. :-(

The webpage to access to download a manual from their site at manualslib dot com - PDF manual resource takes quite a while to load initially, though it seems to have already fully loaded, but if you look at the page loading bar/meter/gauge then it remains about half loaded for quite a while, and that's using my G5 iMac, so you have to wait for the reCaptcha feature to load, that's before you complete the picture array - that leads nowhere !! :-(

I also tried to download a PDF manual from manuall co uk . . . for a Black & Decker KS630 jigsaw, the reCaptcha process seemed to work OK, but the supplied download link was merely a HTML page from the website that indicated a token to allow the download but did not allow the download. Is Wayfarer misinterpreting the download link code and thus failing to download it correctly, and is this partially where the problem lies with the manualslib.com failure to download the manual from that website as well? :-?

I can promise you a PCIe Single Processor (Not the 2.5 quadcore) PowerMac will be the most reliable long term MorphOS solution we have. It will outlast an X5000, maybe not the Peg 2 (as long as you secured the fan on the G4 to stay secure).

I have never seen a PCIe SP PM fail. Chris Edwards had a good video or two concerning them. I have owned PCIX powermacs and they don't last.

Put a 2.5GHz processor in the single processor system and you will be good to go, they are bullet proof.

    Good luck!

    There is no bulletproof HW.

Have an X5000 (or SAM) fail under warranty -> lot of hassle and time to get it fixed
Have any obscure HW (A1, Peg, SAM etc) fail after warranty -> you'll be spending big ($)$$$ IF your lucky
Have an old Mac fail -> spend <200$ to find parts or a full replacement on ebay

Now there is a simple and trivial solution for all this. One that had been kinda demonstrated 5 years ago, but......

    @Kronos
Sure, maybe not bullet proof but darn close!

All the PowerMac users I talk to that own a business and used the platform, all used the PCIe single processor system. The dual 2.5's had a high failure rate and the PCIX stuff did fail more as well. The single processor PCIe stuff is the best from that era, that we luck out to use with MorphOS. As a bonus it is the fastest...

The heatsink alone is a work of art :).

If new hardware were to show up one day, I wouldn't be upset :)

When the HW was like 5-10 years old, but we are pushing 20 years even on the newest stuff.

So far I haven't had a full age related failure with a PPC Mac and I do have plenty to go around for a while, but there is no question that this will become an issue and a big one with non standard parts, like PSUs or odd sized fans.

There is also the issue that we have reached the performance ceiling for PPC HW and short of drastic changes usability on the net will slide backwards no matter how much work gets poured into Wayfarer.
