Its possilbe to change device for drive in Jalapeno and how ?

Now Jalepeno by default using MINI CDRW (ide.device 1) I need to change it to usbscsi.device today I buy External Phillips SPD4001CC !

maybe need to say that loading CD/DVD from drive in Amibient is OK ..only writing mode is not working on MOS side..

Just in case, make sure to enable the scsi commands set in poseidon massstorage settings for your usb writer (but maybe it's already enabled by default).

Btw very nice proggy Jalapeno. Just burned for the 1st time an audio disc with my pm with no problem(very nice the animation of CD burning . No more MakeCD!!!

and what about universal solution for other guys? I have too external dvdburner LG GSA E50L, but I do not see it anyway. . Can You help me and maybe others? I would like get to work because on my previous Pegasos II, I heva install dvdram media and I have lot of datas on dvdram discs. THX and sory for my english.

You seem to be having an unrelated error due to some USB problems - this is unrelated to Jalapeno. Either check your cabling or usb settings for the device.

Could you possible tell me what the solution was for the problem when USB CD/DVD writer was detected as a Removable Disk?

The same drive is working OK fon AmigaOne/OS4.1 and MAcMini/MacOS , can read and bunr CD/DVD..

That means that there was no real solution :(
The problem is same for me, I can use the USB CD/DVD for reading but not for burning.
