That package works fine for me. Are you trying to fix a bug? I am all for new versions, but I have been able to use MLDonkey at least. Cannot say that about any of the other P2P packages.

    @ Miki060

A MUI GUI is a low priority need: the HTML GUI of MLDonkey works very fine with OWB.

    @ dake

Current version of MLDonkey is affected by the 2 GB limit: MLDonkey simply ignores any request to download files larger than 2 GB.

Since IceFileSystem allows us to store files larger than 2 GB on our hard disks, one year ago I asked tokai to recompile MLDonkey with large file support.

Unfortunately he said there were technical problems that required much work, and he had no spare time for this.

    I hope now he can...

    Unaware of the 2gb limit.
I know you must manually set the download speed as the default is only 10kb/sec!
I achieved normal P2P download speeds after changing this setting.

I dont have any problems regarding 2GB limit, what I meant was that out of 10 films MLDonkey only starts to download about 3 of them. The rest 7 films I had to use a pc to download becuase MLDonkey don't even starts to download a single kb of them.

MLDonkey is a very nice program and I have used it for many years whitout hassle, but the last year its getting harder to find torrents that starts to download. Maybe its not the torrents itself, maybe newer torrent program dont share with older MLDonkey or something.

Current MLDonkey 3.0 is about 2.5 years old and there is newer source to compile, there is a good chance the problem is solved in later versions. I have tried alot to compile a new binary but there are big problems for me to get the compiler enviroment, therefore it would be grateful if someone with correct compiler enviroment can compile a new binary for us, please.

I guess MLDonkey does not support trackerless torrents (using Dynamic Hash Table).

    Just a small note:
I have now managed to compile the OCAML in MorphOS, this is needed for compiling MLDonkey source.
I have also finally succeeded in compiling a newer MLDonkey that support trackerless torrents (DHT).
    Now MLDonkey download everything@high_speed:)
I will just do some more testing and after that I can release this bastard if anyone want so.

@Tokai: I'm lazy can I use your old quickstart, readme and other files from your old release??

Everyone who uses MLDonkey wants so!

Are you able to overcome the 2 GB limit, too? The number of very large files available on the net is constantly growing.
