The demo of Mankind (Life at the farm) runs on Pegasos too ! It's a Karate demo :) And it's old school. But the dbm sound is not really clear...

Hmm :( the Demo from Creative Minds (our one) will not work on the Pegasos I suppose. We are using some kind of a direct memoryacces to the Blizzard/CybervisionPPC and this will most likely not work on the Pegasos. :(

Give us a Pegesos (Hello BBRV!!!!) and we will build a Pegasos-Compartible Version of course!

if you are writing about video memory acces then it's completely fine. just to it system way, with LockBitMap() (don't remeber the exact name) and get memory addres. And do a system mouse button checking if you already didn't.

this boingdemo sucks. i compiled it yestarday and it's really lame;)

    all:
our demo will be released very soon. i'm making a version which will work with mos1.4 drivers (you will need voodoo ofcoz). the video is already released (ftp.klosz.art.pl/incoming look for dir mwi&spd-fdsvideo....)

BTW, a bit related. There is a Phinixi mailinglist for demosceners and people who are interested in demoscene.. but as Greenboy has been away for sometime, I really don't know how to advice you to get on to that list :/

    Greenboy is BACK!

I'd be inclined to enquire about status of developer boards, purchase prices though...there may well be some trade-up or old pre-april boards still kicking round.

yeah, what IS happening with the rest of the promised Pegasos2 boards? We got one, together with Ephidrena and TBL already, but there are still 7 groups waiting for it.. I don't think any of us 3 have started developing for the Pegasos2 demo yet, before we know that the other 7 have got their machines, i.e. that this is infact going to take place, so I really hope the boards will arrive to the ones lacking them..

Then we shall do our part and make a lot of (hopefully) high-quality demos :)

Oh, and Creative Minds, any chance at getting your demo in .avi? I had to review it for AmigaPLUS today, and well.. Don't have PPC board and only watched it once, so I fear I was too brief.. Oh well, nice demo anyay :)

No Problem guys, here it is.
    http://ada.planet-d.net/showdemo.php?demoid=359

    @Darkhawk
If you are still interested in writing a review so you can contact me by e-mail to get additional informations and screenshots in higher resolution and so on.

We are also waiting for our Pegasos board and I have to say that I'm angry about it.

Hey BBRV: 5 of the 10 Demogroups released High Quality Stuff for the Breakpoint Party this easter. You see -> we are active!

But now after this discussion in the Breakpoint forum:
    http://breakpoint.untergrund.net/forum/read.php?f=1&i=553
it seems to me that there will be no Pegasos allowed in the Amigacompo next year.

So we need the new Hardware NOW to create our own Competition!

One year is gone since the competitionannouncement and HEY whats up? 3 got their bords and 7 are waiting. :(

News are that i have ZERO time. There is something called school, and from time to time it occupies all your free time. It will be ready when i will finish the projects i'm on now.

PS. I'm with what Infinity wrote. !00% Agree.

    Hmm, can't find it...
But I suddenly have loads of new Scene MP3s to listen to :-D

I used to like listening to MODs, these are the same idea but done with much more modern gear.

Too bad Kiero doesn't have time to finish the bp-demo so we only have the .avi to watch. How is it looking Kiero?

Btw, is there any chance of seeing fate fits karma on pegasos? It's such a great demo, and I miss watching it a lot since my ppc died.
