    Hi Voodoo,

Have you tried booting off your cd and see if the partitions are still there and if you can access them?

This behavior I had sometimes in case of corrupt poseidon-prefs (perhaps it's also your problem).... delete them (sys:prefs/env-archive/sys/poseidon.prefs) and reboot.

    I had this issue also.
And I get read/write errors on partition with owb.
Sfsdoctor always works to get it going again.
Do more people experience this behaviour?
Or is my harddrive on it's way out?

Just to avoid weird theories, OWB doesn't corrupt disks. But it often writes to the disk to save cookies, bookmarks, session, history, favicons, whatever (depending on your options, they can all be disabled).

If you happen to run in parallel unstable applications that corrupt the memory, the write buffers might potentially be trashed and OWB could write garbage to the filesystem if you're very unlucky.

The thing is OWB can easily be affected, becauseit eats a lot of memory, and statistically, it has more chances to get hit by corruption. :)
