Is there a way to have MAME keep high scores of individual games? TIA

To my understanding... If the game itself supported it in real life, then yea... I believe most 80s arcades just wouldn't save the high scores.. The second the power was killed, the high score data went with it... A game that saved your high scores was Centipede..

If the game doesn't save it in hardware itself, then the alternative option is to use a savestate... ctrl f7 / ctrl shift f7 to save restore.

Reminds me i should really work on MAME again someday. ;)

    Thanks for the info.

Are you aware of the bug in the ROM folder path? If it is changed to anything other than PROGDIR:ROMS, it doesn't work. Other than that it works fantastic on my mid range FW800.

Honestly anything you work on is great. Emulators just add to the fun of MOS :)
