I have no sound notification of events in poseidon. Under Morphos 2.7 or earlier there was a notification sound, when inserting or removing a USB device, by poseidon. Then I looked around in morphos and MOSSYS but found no trace of the sound files used. I booted from the iso to check if sound notification of events there is or not, negative result. I do not even recall the format of the sound files, aiff wave 8/16 svx or another.

Hello Brumiga,
you have to activate notification sounds going in System Settings -> USB, clicking on PopUps (listed left) and select a sound for Connection/Disconnect action.
The sounds used before are in SYS:Prefs/Presets/Poseidon but you can even take a look in Mossys:Data/SoundEffects for more sounds.

The Poseidon effects have been disabled by default in MorphOS V3 afair. There are indeed some sound effects in mossys:data/soundeffects with various bings, dongs and klings. I guess most people didn't even notice yet ...
