I brought my :Mac:Mini into town today so that I could fix a few things with Grunch.

Well I'm am on-line and typing this, but when ever I try to load up Grunch it just starts producing a giant list of FATAL messages saying it is unable to connect to www. this and www that.

Also, once the program is fully loaded and I try to update something, it will always end saying that the install of the program failed.

It's working now. Must have been a glitch.

Same thing happenend to me last Sunday. But I tried again yesterday again and it worked fine. Maybe some of the servers Grunch connects to, go down at times; not sure.

To be clear, there is no Grunch server.

Grunch is using developer sites, MorphOS files and the Aminet as source for its data.

So, if the aminet is down for some reason it may fail to check for updates, but this only effects some items.

Also make sure you give the system some time after booting. Depending on the network it may take up to 15 seconds until network is fully launched.

I still have a network check on my todo list, to prevent such problems especially when Grunch gets launched from wbstartup.
