(as I also posted on amigaworld) The nrk.no website does normally require that you have a browser with embedded Silverlight or WindowsMediaPlayer.
But to my pleasent surprise I found their video streams is possible to play on my Amiga-like system, and that it also plays very well too. I use MorphOS 2.6 on a MacMini to play the streams with mplayer, but I guess it should play well on OS4 or Aros as well. Not sure about if classic 68k is up to it.
To play NRK1, 2 or 3/Super in live TV, just open mplayer and select to open a stream. copy and past one of these urls into the requestor: mms://straumv.nrk.no/nrk_tv_direkte_nrk1_m mms://straumv.nrk.no/nrk_tv_direkte_nrk2_m mms://straumv.nrk.no/nrk_tv_direkte_nrk3_m
Normally the video will play shortly after, given they are broadcasting. (some TV is not broadcasted due to licencing issues)
If you want to play any other program from NRK's archive, you must use your webbrowser and navigate to the wanted program. (Here I can only speak for OWB on MorhOS, but here OWB does display NRK's pages correctly). You will probably see a page that wants to measure your network speed before you get directed to the video. The page with the video is ment to be shown embedded in the browser will show with a small icon that shows a missing plugin. Here you must select from the menu, View - Show source code. Browse through the source code until you find a line beginning with: embed type="application/x-mplayer2" src=" When clicking on that link, you should be prompted if you want to save an asx.aspx file. Save this file to RAM: or whatever. Open the file with a text editor. Inside this file you will find a direct mms: link to the video clip you wanted. Copy this link and paste it into mplayer.
This should work, at least from within norway. I'm not sure if they have applied some filtering for users outside Norway or not. Happy watching :)
