    I'm a new MorphOS user. My previous experience with something similar was back in 1983-1989 with a C64 and later from 1990 - 1992 with an A500.

    This year I decided to make a come back to my passion for the Amiga so I bought myself an A1200, A3000 and now I have built a nice MorphOS system around a Mac Mini G4 1.5GHz, VRAM 64, 80 GB HDD. I just isntalled and registered my MorphOS 3.0 and now I would like to start doing something meaningful.

    I'd like to know for instance if there is any version of PageSetter or PageStream ported to MOS, or something similar to do some desktop publishing.

    In general what other Amiga software packages are available for download and where?

    I once read that there is a direct ported version of TurboCalc, where can I find it?

    Finally, how can I use or what do I need to do to be able to use .adf files (packages)?

    Hi,

    For PageStream, there is a MorphOS native version and a 68k Amiga version. Both works on MorphOS. But this program is quite instable since more or less a decade. Everybody waits for the next 5.x stable version.

    Lots of Amiga software works under MorphOS : Amiga Writer, TurboCalc, Wordworth, Art Effect, Pro Station Audio, Photogenics, Personal Paint, etc. But most are commercial and not yet freely available.

    Fot ADF/DMS, the best way is to use them under UAE. You can integrate UAE in Ambient (the MorphOS desktop). Here a tutorial in french : http://obligement.free.fr/articles/integrer_euae_ambient.php

    Just to add that ProStationAudio was also ported to MorphOS natively and made available as part of the SuperBundle, but not available anymore.

    @WeiXing3D

    I am not sure if you have already checked this out but Morphzone's [LIBRARY] area (see top of the page links) has some great info for someone starting out.

    http://library.morph.zone/Links#Software

    Daff, from the online magazine, Obligement has written a good introduction to Morphos guide as well (just use the translate option if you are not a native french speaker)

    Have fun, and welcome to the club. :)

    @Daff:
    Cannot agree! Pagestream 68K (V4.x) runs very stable and quick on Morphos! V5 (beta, MUI-version) is "catastrophic", indeed....
    Peg2, 3xPowerMac G5, 2xPowerbookG4, 2x MacMiniG4, Efika (again), A3000T and life is never boring.....

    Depends on what you're looking for exactly. For the titles you mentioned so far you've got the answers already I think.

    You can find the free TVPaint serial number inside the TVPaint archive.
    Show all files (to see the files with no icon) and open the serialnumber.txt file...

    I gave you two purchase links for older versions (3.5 and 2.1). Those are German dealers though. Here some more links, this time a US-based dealer:
