Hello, just downloaded the 3.0 iso and burned to a cd, and when i insert it under morphos the installation wizard doesn't come along as with early versions, only have access to the filesystem. Also, double clicking on the iwizard inside tools, don't do anything. One thing i have noticed, is that if i try to boot from my morphos partition and the cd is in the drive, the screen stays white, and doesn't go into morphos, being the only way to eject the cd and boot morphos, then insert cd.
Is my cd wrong in any ways?, i mean, the image wrong burned?
    Thanks in advance!!!

You need to boot from the CD to make it work. Without it is just a bunch of files you cannot use.

Follow the instructions to boot your system mentioned here:

    http://www.morphos.de/installation

Just inserting only works if the identical version is already installed, as the old 2.7 boot.img will be used which cannot read the 3.0 files on CD.

Boot from the MorphOS 3.0 CD by holding the 'C' key.

Use Piru's advice as it works, I was wondering the same thing until I googled.

But will it destroy the data already in the drive, or will just upgrade os system files?.

Choose update instead of fresh install. Your old settings are left intact. Don't worry, it will go smooth as a pimp on a Cadillac.

I have a dual boot MacMini with 2.4 registered. Still the same procedure? Boot from CD? Only system files will be upgraded to 3.0 with Data Files left as they are and OSX intact?

Ok, thanks for the responses. I have now installed morphos 3.0. One of the things i noticed, is that i went to check the S drawer, to see the configuration file when the internet time is set-up, but unlike 2.7, that there was several files, here only stays a user-startup file. How can i set the date and time automatically on startup like on 2.7?
    Thanks in advance!!!
