i tried the latest sfssalv (0.17) from the latest aminet archive, and it refuses to start on mos 1.4. snoopdos says it loads correctly, but the only output i get is "unknown command".
protection bits are all right.

any hints ???

Something is borked in SFSsalv... I tried it on my BPPC/MorphOS system
ages ago and it was not working.

SFSSalv has NEVER worked on MorphOS even if SFS is a sort of "official" file system for MOS. It means that if you have errors with SFS on your HD you can easily go to suicide, no way to repair it.
The only possibility is to put the HD on an Amiga Classic for people that still has one (not me..). This is the most reason me and others use PFS on Pegasos.

What advantage does PFS have over SFS when used on Morphos? are their repair tools native to Mos?
