It depends on what you have installed and how it is set up.

Odyssey for MorphOS (similar to OWB-MUI version for OS4, but better, as more work has been completed on it) can display HTML5 videos (and I imagine other HTML5 content besides video), plus there are some other Flash compatible parts that can be integrated into Odyssey and/or MPlayer, but I am not an expert at setting this kind of stuff up myself and have not worried about Flash content online for a long time.

There is information about this topic in the documentation and readme files for Odyssey and MPlayer, that Fab has done tons of work on bringing to MorphOS (plus probably other developers as well), so you can learn a lot if you read those with all the options that can be configured and set up.

I have not taken the time to read it all, as I have pretty much given up on trying to watch Flash content online.

Others here can provide better answers, so I am just trying to point you in the right direction to find your own answers. I can't even remember the name(s) of the program(s) that were used to view Flash content on MorphOS prior to the work that Fab did to improve the capabilities of OWB/Odyssey and MPLayer, with regard to Flash content.

My suggestion is to stick with your Intel powered MacMini & Snow Leopard, for watching Flash content online. I think the latest versions of the Flash players are still available for MacOSX for Intel processors.

Yes, OWB for MorphOS has been able to do that starting with v1.7 (March 2010).

Some amateur video showing it in action (amongst other things):

    A couple screenshots:

    http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owbshots/vimeo.png
    http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owbshots/dailymotion.png

As you can see, OWB can also play dailymotion, vimeo, and many other portals using HTML5 media, and when a site uses Flash, it's sometimes possible to write/use a small extension to replace Flash with HTML5.

And finally, the Flash plugin is also able to play content (including video) depending on the Flash version being required, but it's much slower (like 5-10fps or so).

So far, OWB/MUI for OS4 can't do that.

Yes, my 800Mhz Power Mac can play 480P Youtube videos with about 40% CPU load.

    redrumloa,

Yes, my 800Mhz Power Mac can play 480P Youtube videos with about 40% CPU load.

As well as my 500 MHz PowerMac at 60 - 70% :-). Even Efika can play them realtime, but offline from disk (there is not enough memory to play them straight from YouTube in OWB).

    @ Redrumloa / Krashan

now I am a bit confused ... on my MDD with 1,4 GHz (Dual core) it consumes between 75 and 85% of CPU Power to watch a Youtube video (directly
clicked on it, not opend in a seperate window). Do I have to change settings inside OWB? Watching the same Video inside MPlayer only needs about
30% CPU Power. If there is a way to scall this down, let me know of it!

Overlay mode in OWB reduces drastically cpu consumption, but it works ONLY in fullscreen mode. Try it and you'll have the proof.
