Hello,

i just recognized that Transfer is extremely slow when
receiving data from a ftp server.
I tested it with Transfer 1.1, MorphOs 2.7 on a Pegesos 2/G4
and a Power Mac G4@1,25 GHz.
I downloaded a 700 Mb file from my ftp ever over an 100 Mbit
network. Transfer rates are on both machines about 1,6 MB/s.
In contrast AmiTradeCenter V1.1308 achieves 8,5 MB/s.

What's going wrong with Transfer?

Receive/Send buffer is too small.
Fixed in last version.

Transfer 1.1 is latest version i could find?!
Edit: Just found version 1.2 on your website,
but it is even a little bit slower.

There will be a new release in near future?

Latest version on Stefkos's page seems to be 1.2 from the readme, just mis-labelled on the hosting page as 1.1 (and 1.0).

2.0 is on the way with SFTP support. I'm still working on it, will try to release it as beta or smthg.
