Been having some issues with FP again lately. I tried to burn an iso which was in excess of 7gigs and got an error
prior to burning, I guess during transfer, so broke out the old ubuntu and got done, now I'm trying to burn a dvd I created, and
it gives the same error, prior to writing again. "Command failed. Disk cannot be written to. while transferring 16 sectors rom 2D2960BC
Snoop says Process name- <> Action- Open Target Name- muidebug Options- read Res.- Fail

I've done this before, so what gives now?

    same issue here unresolved https://morph.zone/modules/newbb_plus/viewtopic.php?forum=11&topic_id=6798&post_id=69712&viewmode=flat&sortorder=0&showonepost=1

I'm not sure what you try to say with this "so broke out the old ubuntu and got done"! But the "Command failed. Disk cannot be written to" looks familiar, I'm not 100% sure but I believe I get this error before I cleaned the laser lense on the DVD and after cleaning, my drive was much happier.

This behaviour you get, if a bit cannot be written or varified. In this case clean your CD, your laserlense and/or reduce writing speed - this helps in most cases. If not change disc.

Links suggests otherwise, so not dissassembling my mini to try to clean a lenz which works perfectly well on macosx.
