Since ATC _is_ the best available ftp-client for both AmigaOS and MorphOS I sureley installed it on my PegII as well.

But it completely freezes my Ambient when I start a download!

I can start ATC, select servers etc., start the ATC-Trader, select files and directories or whatever, but the moment I start the transfer it locks up both itself and Ambient.

Any Ideas? I can't really complete my installation until I cannot get files from my now old A4k to the PegII!

Yeah, I have the same problem. It occurs as it's trying to fill in the gauge for hd space. It's been submitted to the bugtracker for ATC.

The only suggestion I can make is to download an older (pre 1.4) version if they offer it. (They do.. You can download one here!)

I have found 1.1181 to be the most stable version for Pegasos, though it shows drivespace wrong.

Yep, 1.1181 is the last beta before 1.4 came out and it runs fine on my PegII.

Well, I'm using ATC 1.1306 here on my PegI and it works ok (BTW using Miami as a TCP/IP Stack).

I'm using ATC 1.308 / ATCTrader 1.1228 with MiamiDx 1.0 and it works flawless in LAN and internet...

That version has just a few little fixes:

* Fixed broken sliders.
* Fixed missing % signs.

so it shouldn't make a big difference, but you could give it a try :)
