The guy who wrote Superbase has written the fastest web server in the world. Faster than Apache or any other server.

It is for Linux only now as Windows cannot handle it at all.
There is a Windows v1 program available but will no longer be upgraded he says.
Windows just can't cut the mustard.

Like to see this on Amiga.
    :pint:
    Mac G5 ISight 21" 2.5 gb of ram 233gb hd matshita dvd-r uj-846
    Powerbook G4 1.67ghz 2GB, ATI 9700M Pro 128mb
1TB hd, DL-DVD Burner, Netgear pcmcia wireless card.
    ImageFX 4.5, PageStream 3.3, PhotoGenics 5.0

It's also a more simple web- server than Apache...
apache as so many features that sometime some specifics usages run slower than they should.
But that the endless problem between features and speed.

If you need the most fast http server, just few lines of C to create and handle some sockets are enough ;-)
    And now... next project!

"Paradiesli 17" Only Swiss can have that strange names.
But "the fastest"? Everyone claims to be the fastest. And Apache is far off being the fastest. Every native Amiga webserver is much faster than Apache. Every thttpd and all their names on *x are faster than Apache. Only IIS may be slower.
