I'm trying to use Diavolo for my backup purposes and I have a few questions:

    1. I'm backing up to a EXT4 format NAS via smbfs, is it possible to write file sizes bigger than 2 gigs?
    2. If #1 is no, is there a way to automate the naming of the sequential files being used for the backup, so the backup doesn't take days (because I have to manually type a new name every 2 gigs).

    Thanks for the help!

    Matt

I should know but I cant remember :)

    1. IIRC there is no way around 2GB limit. I have to take a look at it again but it probably cant be supported. I added support for new 64bit DOS API long ago because I wanted to work around this limit.... I cant remember much more about it.

    2. AFAIK no... I would have to check it again
    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1
