I have tried to install Q2, but installer stops before copying basefiles, at 10%.
Now i wanted to copy by hand, but files are packed and I don't know how to unpack .hpa files.
What steps does it take to copy the data frow q2-windows-cd?

The problem is that qtools doesn't work on MOS. I just modified the install script to copy the packed files. The game works with the packed files.

I could send you my "hacked" install script if you're interested.
