Yes, most of the audio/video codes are supported.
There is two main players: MPlayer (Unix Port) and Frogger.

The FireWire connectors works but there is not support under MorphOS.
I've test it my self on Linux by booting on the MacOS X with an iPod

I was not aware about divx support thanks to ffmepg sourceforge project.

No 5.1? I won't die for this. But playing DVD is nicer with the big sound. Hope next major AHI release will support 5.1 channels... (must have)

FW supports is important. FW = DV = NLE software for video. must have for me. I heard about a project of a NLE software for morphos. What is the status?

Is there a projet like MPlayer for linux ? A nice GUI for HTPC would be nice. Is Frogger skinable? (Seems to be the best player around)

There is a good apps to develop. There is no killer apps for morphos right now I guess. Linux is still crappy and windows XP media center is a MS product. Nice but still a MS product.

Anyone willing to develop a such app?
