    Hello,

i am using ambient with transparency windows when moving/resizing a window.
The window is fully rendered on it's old position/size and a
gray box at the new position/size.
Will it be possible not render the old position/size of the window and
only render the tranparent gray box when moving/resizing a window?

    regards

Is that a problem? I'd prefer not to add config options there without a very good reason.

    Yes, it is.
Normally i am move/resize a window, if it hides a window behind.
If the old position/size is rendered a cannot see how far
    i have to move/resize.
Not to render old position/size is also the default behaviour in many other
    window manager.

    Hi,
a question for you; I use everyday MorphOS2.5 and I like it :-) ...well, I'd like as an Ambient future feature, to have a "tree browser showing" inside (similar to OSX), possible ?

    thanks

    @eliot:

Why not drag/resize with contents then?

Maybe there is some confusion here. What jacadcaps says is: In "MorphOS Preferences" select "IControl" press tab "Screens and Desktop" and activate "Drag windows with full contents" and "Resize windows with full contents", now your suggested behaviour should be fulfilled!

If I understand correctly, your misunderstanding stems from Dake's latest post indicating that there was a misunderstanding, despite your previous post indicating that you had not misunderstood at all.

The misunderstanding Dake refers to is his own misunderstanding of your reply to Jacadcap's suggestion, where Dake thought that you misunderstood Jacadcap's suggestion that you try drag/resize with content, due to Dake's misunderstanding your reply to said posting.

In actuality, Jacadcaps misunderstood your description of the original issue (which I still don't understand fully) which led to Dake's misunderstanding that you misunderstood Jacadcap's suggestion, and his attempt to guide you through the configuration options and menus.

    Understood?

    Now everything is clear, thx!
    :)

I will try to explain it in another way:

It would be very useful if the feature of movind/resizing windows with content
can also be done without the content and displayd the gray transparent boxes instead.
    regards
