I download the beta SDK2 and i will install it in efika, but when start installation, start the descompressing files and says a error an is stoped. I use the default installation directory. What is this error? I need to download another installer or similar?

This could be caused by the lack of RAM on Efika. Try to reboot and run the installer w/o starting any other applications.

Also, in case you're decompressing the sdk lha to T:, try using a temporary location on some partition instead.

i unpack the lha to a temporality dir named temp in sys: i launch the installer aplication for install it and is stopped at 0.05, i try it with no startup-sequence but the some result. I view in sys:/morphos/s/statup-sequence exist sdk entries, i need to rename/delete it?

The startup-sequence must contain SDK entries - this is fine. Could you tell us what filesystem did you format the system disk with ?

my hdd is formated with SFS 512block and 64buffers

It would be useful to see the successful calls as well (disable the "show only fails" option).

But this log already suggests that your MorphOS 2.5 installation is incomplete. Are you sure you're booting the MorphOS 2.5 system and not for instance the morphos-2.5-efikainstall.img ?

Piru now is installing! I found the error, in my sys:libs/xad i have some extra package from 68k archive, i rename it and i test with only files in sys:morphos/libs/xad suplied with mos2.5 and now is installing.

Oh! This sounds like some bug in some of the 68k clients you had installed (or alternatively some issue with the xadmaster itself).

Could you provide a lha archive of the clients and send them to sintonen@iki.fi ?

here with my external xad in sys:libs dont install sdk2 but without it i install with no problems, is strange

Ok I managed to reproduce it now. It's xfd-xad client it seems. I'll be investigating some more.

UPDATE

xfd-xad 1.0 is seriously broken. It will ALWAYS identify every file as xfd-xad if xfdmaster.library is not found or if xfdAllocObject fails.

This causes the problems you're having. I'll probably add blacklisting for this buggy client to the next MorphOS xadmaster.library version.

Meanwhile you're advised to uninstall the xfd-xad client ( delete libs:xad/xfd-xad )

ok, i dont use my external package 68k, only the default morphos xad. Thanks piru, piru rulez :)
