I've just released a beta version 0.4 of DateCalc, which is a simple calculator for dates. Main features are:
    - Adding or substracting number of days to/from any date.
    - Calculating day difference between two dates.
    - Determining weekday of a date.
    - 7 programmable preset buttons and "Today" button.
    - Program is localized (no *.cd file available yet).
    - Time range is from year 1 to 9999 using proleptic gregorian calendar.
Program is available here. As it is beta, there is no manual, icon and readme file yet. The interface is mostly self-explanatory however. You can discuss any bugs or feature requests here. DateCalc is freeware and will stay freeware in the future.

    Suggestions:

Enter any date to get the day name.

Conversion to and from Japanese calendar (Nengo). For the Japanese calendar you need to keep a list of the reign of each emperor; for example 2010 A.D. <-> Heisei 22.

Conversion to and from Thai calendar (Buddhist era). For the Thai calendar you add 543 to the date, 2010 A.D. <-> 2553 B.E. I think some other countries may also use B.E.

    +2 more weeks button :-D

Enter any date to get the day name.

It is simple. Enter the date as the first argument, then press either "+ Days" or "- Days" (it does not matter which one), then immediately press "=". The second argument will be automatically set to 0. Then you have the weekday name in the result.

As for any exotic calendar - I can easily add them for output format, allowing input for them is another story however. For example you can't enter these Japanese dates with only numerical keys...
