I was wondering if anyone is working on any image editing software? Ive messed about with sketch, but it doesnt do it for me. I've messed about with alot of amiga programs photogenics,dpaint,tvpaint,perfect paint etc but yet again nothing.

One program I have been messing about with is pixel (photoshop clone) and tho it works to a degree the program still has alot of bugs and iff's dont seem to be support tho it does give you an option to open them.

I looked at the makers website and the last time he looked at the software was 2006 and he said that its now an unsupported version! so i was wondering before I part with some funds if anyone is working on a native photoshop clone for morphos?

Really great to read your comment, because I was starting to think that it's only me in a need for some kind of professionnal graphic and image editing software which runs on MorphOS!

We had for the Amiga in the past very advanced image software solutions, when the peecee was still struggling with the 4 basic colors, black, white, green and... but today IMHO we are really in the need of an modern solution for MorphOS, some kind of a PhotoShop clone...

Perhaps some port of an existing software solution from the linux world...?

A word about pixel, it was an Swiss Amiga and Pegasos vendor (Relec.ch) and me who financed an Pegasos 2 for the developper of pixel in order to do a MorphOS version of his program, but unfortunately he did it up to the state you found on his website and it seems that there is no further development going on...

Yomgui, a french developer, started several projects in this domain, e. g. Gribouillis...
He also does the Blender port for MorphOS...

Innovative does not exist anymore.

What's wrong with Photogenics5, TVPaint, Art Effect?
They work fine for me.

They have layers, filters, scripting, etc..
Which feature you need they don't have?

Sketch is rather simple program but Stefkos is working on Paint - advanced version of Sketch and i'm working on new plugins for sketch (which can be used in my SCANdal too)

I was hoping Pixel to become the best one on MorphOS, but I think the development is concentrated on Windows... The beta version is although the most professional image editing sw that I know of
