    Hi,

I'd like to know if using "Allow triple buffered screens" does consume even more graphic mem then when using only double bufferd screens? I mean would it be better to use only double buffered screens on MacMini with 64 MB, or if double bufferd is used it doesn't make any difference if also triple buffered is used? What are triple bufferd screens for, is it the OS using it, or are there specific programs using it?

    Thanks for feed-back.

Triple buffered does use more RAM, because it keeps a separate screen buffer. On some configurations this gives slightly smoother display than double buffered. Enhanced display may however ignore this setting if it discovers that the amount of memory is too low for the resolution of your choice.

that's exactly what I wanted to know, thanks! I try to work a while with only double buffered screens selected, to see how it behaves...
