    It's still a beta: not all of the videos open in html5 mode.
    Sometimes opening a page from an internal youtube link can do the trick...

    @osco

    It seels they broke the HTML5 support today.

    By the way, if you see a question mark (on a lego brick?), that means you haven't installed the flash plugin (not that the flash plugin is really fast enough to play youtube, anyway, but still).

    Yes, there're already users complaining about broken HTML5 support in the comments to http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/2010/03/new-video-page-launches-for-all-users.html

    I hope that's just an oversight on Google's part.

    Yes, they managed to fix it for a couple minutes and then broke it again. At worst, you can use the flash plugin, and retrieve the video direct URL in message window (or flash resource window), and pass that link to mplayer.

    HTML5 is working again on some pages.
    Also flashless is broken because it relies on keep-tube.com which began using java...

    Hi,

    I have problem at the moment with Youtube HTML5 videos, Do you think It's a my problem in OWB config (I use 1.7 version) or a problem of Youtube ?.

    Best regards

    You have to go to http://www.youtube.com/html5 first and click the subscribe link, else Flash is used instead. And not all movies are available as HTML5 either, since it's still in test phase.
