In contrast with all of the patches of this kind that i have tried on AmigaOS3, (TLSFMem, PoolMem, MemOptimizer) APooler slows down memory allocations considerably. At least according to the benchmarking tool AllocatorBenchmark, which is part of the TLSFMem package. (Under MorphOS 1.4.5) I guess this is because it uses pooled allocations which are slower than ordinary ones..
How does it perform in reducing memory fragmentation? Is it good enough to justify its place in the startup-sequence? I can't say that i notice ANY difference when this patch is installed.

You will notice the speed diffrence only after some hours of uptime.
    MorphOS-2 has a new TLSF-Memorymanager built-in.

I did notice some improvements in performance when I was running Sputnik under MorphOS 1.4.5. On average, with other programs it wasn't really noticeable.

    Kind regards,

I have been using APooler long time before Sputnik was released. It really helps to keep your memory more tidy. Without APooler I noticed huge speed decreases after about half day system usage. The difference is easy noticable especially when you use programs that intensively allocates memory (especially many little, not pooled memory blocks).
