Hi.
I want to convert movies from different formats into VCD-compliant MPGs using either FFMpeg or Mencoder, in order to pass them to VCDGear and create VideoCD disks that will play on a home DVD player.
No matter what arguments i use, the converted movies always have some A/V sync problems etc.
Could anyone who has done this successfully paste the exact command-line that he is using? Thank you.

I believe that i have tried every suggested argument in the manual of Mencoder, but i still couldn't make it to output a 100% proper VCD MPG stream. Anyway, i got some nice tips from A.org and i will apply them to see if they will resolve the problems i encountered. Thanks.

ffmpeg add parameter -bf 1 and -f vcd, create in vcdimager.
