    Hi.
    Has anyone done any benchmarks on the various datatypes packages available for MOS 1.4.5 to see which one is the fastest?
    I've heard that the Warp datatypes are the fastest for AOS 3 and 4, but not for MOS. Is this true?

    There is no reason to exchange the MorphOS datatypes with external ones. This is even more valid on MorphOS 2.0 where the MorphOS datatypes possible can make use of AltiVec optimizations here and there in the used libraries.

    BTW. I had to fix the topic to say 'MorphOS' and not 'MOS'.

    ak-datatypes are probably faster on the operating system three.
    1 + 1 = 3 with very large values of 1

    @itix,

    Maybe ak-datatypes are faster but the preference program looks ugly too. And ak-datatypes do not exist for some pictures formats like bmp, targa or macpict.
