The first update to MorphOS has been mentioned, to fix various bugs/add sound to the Efica version, and just general tidy ups of a pretty tidy system to be honest.

I don't want to sound like I'm whinning, I know a lot of work has gone into MOS2.0, but I'd like CD roms to appear on the the desktop when I put them in, not 3 clicks into 'System', and my USB pen with all my 1.4.5 backups/files on it to work!

Well, I guess you answered your question yourself :-D

Quoting you from the "Are we really biting the dust?" thread on aw.net:

"still good news guys, Morphos is, if anything, in a worse condition at the moment. So yayh for the red team..."

Expect the MorphOS 2.1 update in about two weeks ;-)

Tsk, at least get the quote right, "So yayh for the red team..." , the italics are important!

And what I ment by that was, OS4 users would be jumping up and down in their little excited 'dancing bananas'/pancakes way, asking is this done, is that done, are we there yet daddy? are we there yet? Morphos is a bit more, ooh, what's the best way to put this, resigned to their fate, whatever fate brings.

Anyway, back to the subject, "two more weeks (c)" you say? is that beofore or after AOS4.1? ;-)

Mos is unuseable on Efika at the moment.
Crashs after short time, so I cannot use it for anything.

Hopefully an update will be there in short time.
At the moment I would say that Mos 2.0 is my biggest mispurchase

You haven't bought Papyrus for MorphOS, is that right?

has anyone tried papyrus on morphos 2.0? i've found that many programs which were unstable or even unusable under 1.4.5 are working well now, with 2.0. for example demo version of pixel32.

    maybe papyrus works better too.

Of course i bought Papyrus Office,
and sold it half a year after.

    It was terrible!

But it's just an office suit, i can uninstall it.
If i uninstall mos, i cannnot use anything of the mos software.
    That's the difference.

Don't get me wrong. i like mos,
but at the moment it is still unuseable.
I hope that this will change in near future.
I won't buy any software for mos at the moment,
till it runs without any crashes on efika
