    Hello all!
Recently i've sent an experimental build of 1284parallel.device to all who registered for betatesting. I've got no single reply.
Did you receive the mail at all?

I've received your mail, but I haven't made it yet to test your device, sorry. But I will in the next days :)

I haven't got your email yet, to

    tronman AT centurytel DOT net

But the 1520 printer that I have, is present in the printers list in MOS system prefs :-) So, at least that part of it will be easy!

    Thanks

1284parallel.device is not a ZIP but a generic parport driver. However it provides enough functionality to build a ZIP driver on top of it.

    I'd like to thank:
    Tronman - for succesful betatesting
Gunne Steen & Amigaharry - for their support.
PIC development kit and new 1284parallel.device are coming soon. I am completing PIC debug output viewer.
1284parallel.device can be compiled right now from CVS, it works. It just lacks proper documentation and final testing (together with DEVPic) yet.
When i finish my PIC project i'll resume active development of ieee1394. Also i'll look at what's missing for new MOSNet version, it's not very far from the release, i just lack some components from newer FreeBSD (i've added more uptodate functionality).

    Thanks :-)
Yesterday i've finished revisiting devpic code and came into final hardware version. Need only test, debug it (hopefully not), and release.
Also i've written a documentation for the 1284parallel.device and made a proposal for new API as a standard. I hope someone will react positively.
