I've got my Phreeboard Pegasos setup (finally!) up and running but
    booting from HD doesnt work.

    I've following partitions:

    Boot: 500MB/FFS/non-bootable/pri 25
    DH0: 2GB/SFS/bootable/pri 0

Copied boot.img to BOOT: but what ever I do firmware just says
    "filesystem not supported".

    For booting I tried <boot /pci/ide/disk@0,0:0 boot.img> which should
be correct. Also tried other filesystems (OFS/FFS-intl) for BOOT: and
different block sizes but no luck :-(

    What to do?

Have you checked with the quick start guide on morphos-news.de? Does it have a MBR at the root (did the drive come out of a PC)? If so, you may have to wipe that file off of the drive manually.

Yes, checked guide on morphos-news.de and there was nothing new. Drive is brand new but executed HDWrite ide.device 0 mossys:c/reboot 0 just in case... No help.

There is FFS partition and SFS partition and nothing else.

boot /pci/cd boot.img bootdevice dh0 was another attempt but gave an error too... AFAIK this should load boot.img from cd and then boot from DH0 ?

Sounds like it's time for a trip to IRC.. :-( #MorphOS on one of the Arcnet servers. ArcNet Home, or just use the webchat from the front page of morphzone.

    Dumb question time...

did you make sure Boot: was your *first* partition? If i recall correctly that :0 on the end of your boot line means the first partition.

Tried installing HD to 2nd IDE bus instead of first one?

Of course, change unit number too...

When problem is big solutions is small: use 512 block size.

I'm sure I tried 512 block size couple of times but... now going to copy contents of my Amiga HD to Pegasos :-)
