Anyone with a successful setup of CIFS share (windows network filesharing) ?

I can have share access with smbfs tool which work in command line but I can't mount volume that would display an icon on the ambient desktop. I tried smb-handler with little success so far. It asks me for some password but fail at this step.

If someone have some tips to setup CIFS share that shows up an icon on ambient desktop, I would be very happy to read about.

My Efika with 2Gb CF IDE drive waits for 500Gb of network space.

Btw, I have some trouble with upload speed. I get a mere 10Kb/s with FTP/SMB whatever upload speed. No trouble with downloading. Anyone with such behaviour?
