MPlayer Version 0.93 and 0.97

    Hey guys,

    i wanted to ask if someone could send me the above named Versions of MPlayer. I need them for testing DVD playback, cause it is quite slow and ansyncron on my Peg2 with G4@1GHz

    Why don't you use 1.0rc2? libdvdcss in 1.0 version is a bit more compatible and cache is implemented in morphos version since 1.0rc1 or so, which makes it easier for slower drives (use -cache 16384).

    the last mplayer version doesnt play DVDs here on my system when i activate the cache option. i'm using TD Mplayer GUI and the output window is immediately disappearing right after i press on play.

    Don't use tdmplayer then and try to use the correct syntax. It should be mplayer -dvd-device ide.device:x dvd://1 -cache 16384 where x is your dvd unit. And I would be surprised it doesn't work, really.

    nope, it doesnt work, it freezes at the point where it should cahce.

    I use the last MPlayer, version 1.0 rc2 together with TDMPlayerGUI 0.10 and everything is fine here!

    have you copied the conf/ directory content as well?
