I have read this on Amiga News site http://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2007-10-00033-EN.html but I want to know what about the key? Do we need one or not?

In the middle of the week I spoke on irc with henes, author of the new
release. I asked him about the key file and he answered me that it is
still needed. Now the problem is the non possibility of registration.
You have to ask a user to give you his key file.
