I just saw on the DOSbox homepage, that a new version, 0.71 is available.

    http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/news.php?show_news=1

on the list of the it's new features I see on top:
Added a new recompiling cpu core which is easier to port!
so does it actually mean that it can be ported to MOS with less effort than before? can anyone actually try to compile it so we can have a recent DOSbox version? 0.7 has MANY improvements and increased compatibillity over previous versions...

dosbox compilation was always almost straightforward. I even compiled 0.70 or so recently. However, as usual, it just tends to lock up hard for some reason and debug log doesn't help at all, so it doesn't deserve a release.
