How to configure fxScan to get it working with an USB scanner?

    fxScan prefs
    -------------------
    Scannerdevice: ??????
    Driver: usbraw.device
    -------------------

What should I use with scannerdevice?
I have Pegasos with Poseidon and Epson Perfection USB scanner.
I had it working last year but I lost my MOS partition and I have to make it all from scratch.

    According to http://amiga.iospirit.de/index.php?mode=service&modmode=faqs&faq_id=4&ios_lang=de#FAQ61

    Device "iousbscanner.device"
    Scannerdevice "Scanners/EpsonUSB.device"

r-tea : If you read the french (or if you use babelfish maybe), you can have a look at my little guide (maybe screenshot could help too) :

I wrote this for "Boing Attack", an Amiga Fanzine which is no more alive.

    Hi r-tea,

the stuff you are looking for is in a file
    (archive) called IOUSB_ScannerPackage11R2.lha

You should be able to obtain it at the IOSpirit website.

I bought the whole stuff in 2005.

I've found only IOUSB_System_Upd22.lha on IOSpirit's website and it's also on my fxScan CD. It don't contains the file I need.
Can you point me the archive you have mentioned, please?

The needed file is EpsonUSB.device and it's in Thylacine archive.
    http://thylacine.boing.net/Thylacine1.2.lha
It's no need to install Thylacine package.

It's strange for me, because AFAIK, when I installed fxScan for the very first time from the original CD (and nothing besides) my scanner started working without problems and without any extra files out of the original CD. ???

Heh, recently my HD has died. Totally kaput :)
And I was forced to install MOS and all the stuff from scratch. This time FxScan's installation and configuration went fine. It works right after that, without Thylacine package.
The time before I must omit something on the CD. :-)

Btw. anyone know how to make FxScan remember color mode and resolution?
