Hi,

I installed Basilisk II V 0.9.2 and Macos 8.
Had lot of trouble to run proprely MacOS 8, but now it's running nice. Unfortunatly, it's not very fast.
Does somebody knows a special graphic configuration to run it faster?
I'm runnig it on a screen 1024 X 768 8bits.

Maybe Itix can tell to us someting about it

1.0 is maybe little faster but not much. Bottleneck is not in gfx but in UAE engine which seems to be very very slow.

how did you manage to get OS8 running with it? If I install ?OS8 the emulated Mac just hangs at an early stage of the booting.

I booted with the OS8 system CD.
Then I dont installed the system by the installation script, but copied all the CD on my hard drive file.

then you can boot on your hard drive. On a next step, you can install things one by one on your hard drive.
I have now a lot of Extensions and Boards working.
You must use the boards "monitor" and "sound" from system 7. Be careful to not use "monitor and sound" board from OS8. This doesn't work.

This last version is realy nicer. The GUI is better.
Colour mod works on window mod. This is a very good feature.

I would like to use ethernet with this Basilisk II V1.0 but Dont know wich MAC rom I have to use. With my old 2 roms, one 512 KO, and other 1MO, the apple talkcould not be activated cause this mac doesn't support it.



Is it possible to do internet on Basilisk?
