I am not that surprised by the speed off showing pictures off my dig camera on my peg.
Pictures are on harddisk so not slow usb 1.1
It takes about as much time to load a 2 MB picture(jpeg) and show it as on my amiga4000 with cybppc.
I am using showgirls for displaying.
Haven't installed any datatypes or something like that.
Should I..Do they exist?
Or an other way to speed up things.

Maybe SG is making a thumbs, that's why it takes much time? Send me this JPG. I wanna try! :P Try mysticview or picshow. They are a bit faster than ShowGirls.

I use 16bit screenmode :) Anyway, it isn't big trouble because i don't have many big jpgs, and they works ok with other picture viewers

I like PicShow very much, it preloads pictures while showing some other pics, and it's fast in showing too.
