    Hi guys,

    I made an experimental releaseof latest MLdonkey for MorphOS. You can download it from:

    http://www.christianrosentreter.com/releases/

    It's experimental, because I couldn't test it properly. My bandwidth is eaten by other (more important) things currently. ;-) But I hope it will just work. :-P

    If you experienced problems with special chars in filenames in the last release, then I hope this is solved with this one (I hacked a bit around and it should make proper use of itixs iconv.library now, which you need to install of course).

    If you have problems let me know, you can find me usually on #morphos (irc.freenode.net). My nick is tokai or tokai#? :-) Or simply reply in this very thread.

    Happy leeching,
    tokai.

    The latest version is ported to MOS, thanks tokai!! :-)
    I'm only testing it for 2 hours now, so i can't say if there are problems or not for sure, but it runs ok until now.

    @roschmyr: there are some tips in the readme (FAQ section AFAIR) how to optimize mld behaviour for this if mld getting stuck happens to you. I never encountered this myself really :)

    regards,

    @tokai and roschmyr

    I don't know about linux but the mos port has a defect. If it needs to wait for the execution of some of its functions (because the CPU is slow or occupied by other tasks) it will fail as roschmyr described it. That's why it is important to raise the priority of mlnet to 1.
    My guess is that it hangs after some days because memory fragmentation slows down your system. Maybe you should try too run Apooler, i don't know.
