Just before Xmas 2006, an update of the JIT-Compiler (Trance) has been released for all registered Morphos customers (Peg I/II, ODW).

Are there any plans to make this update also available to Powerup (BPPC/CSPPC) users? Due to known issues with IBrowse 2.4 the update would be very much appreciated.

well, on morphos-team.com isn't anything about destination platform so i guess, it should work also with PowerUp. You didn't try it? (well, i didn't, as i was too lazy to find access codes in my email archive)

    bye, MarK.

As a "Powerup-only" user, I don't have any access to the Morphos-Team download server. So I can't even try. :-(

Yep, would be nice if you could report back if it works. If it does, I don't see a reason why the update is not made available to Powerup users. It's just a matter of uploading it to the official MOS Powerup website.

why it shouldn't? obviously it works.

The problem is to find out a "holy soul" that will send it to you. Personally i've got it from Santa ;-)

Why not put it online somewhere,
    for eg. here?

Is there a secret about the file, so that it
should not be public? Otherwise this would
    be a solution.

Please note that spreading files from the password protected MorphOS FTP/ MorphOS download site is illegal. It's unrelevant that the file also works with PowerUP MorphOS or not (if the MorphOS team thinks its time to update the PowerUP release then it will do so).

Warez spreading is not tollerated, for sure not by the MorphOS team.. not here on morph.zone and not by all the honest users out there.
